We mix small groups and one-on-one conversations, so you’ll have time to actually talk and get to know each other.

While you may not meet every woman at your meetup, the goal is to help you form a few deeper connections.

Two women standing inside a coffee shop. One woman is wearing a black hijab and a floral dress, and the other is wearing a light denim shirt, black shorts, and has headphones around her neck. They are smiling and posing for the photo.
Three women standing together outside on a sidewalk in a small town, smiling for the camera. They are dressed warmly, with the woman on the left holding a pink water bottle, the woman in the middle in athletic wear, and the woman on the right wearing a long coat and a gray knit hat. There are cars parked behind them and a storefront with pink and yellow lights overhead.

Meet Sharon

Hi, I’m Sharon, a 3x founder, small business owner, and extroverted introvert.

I launched BizBestie Walk in May 2025 to create networking meetups that feel welcoming, not overwhelming.

I’m the founder of Luminosa Creative, where I help women entrepreneurs launch websites that get found in Google and AI searches.

My first business was a family art studio (2016–2024), and I’ve always been a creative. I live in Northern NJ with my husband, and we love hiking, the Jersey Shore, and foodie adventures.

As someone who can get overwhelmed in larger settings, I was surprised by how comfortable and welcoming the whole experience felt.

  • A young woman with short curly hair smiling outdoors, wearing a sleeveless white crochet dress.

    Christine

Breaking into smaller groups and 1:1s made it easy to connect. It felt like the perfect length and there was even time to grab coffee and keep chatting after the walk.

  • Bold black text on a colorful abstract background reading "ART CAFE" repeated multiple times with splashes of orange, yellow, red, blue, and green.

    Cory

Within two weeks of the walk, I partnered with one biz bestie on a product gift set and I’m partnering with two others on co-hosting creative events.

  • Illustration of a house with a brick foundation and a chimney, surrounded by flowers and leaves, with text reading "Majestic Home Cleaning Service LLC."

    Chelli

It made me feel less alone in building my business. I enjoyed being in a supportive space where we could share ideas and help each other grow.

  • Portrait of a woman with long brown hair wearing red glasses, a white turtleneck sweater with black stripes, smiling against a light blue background.

    Kristine

It checked a few boxes for me: Meeting amazing women and learning about their businesses, being outside and getting my exercise in, and finding my tribe.

  • Grace

Sharon does a great job of fostering authentic relationships without the surface-level, pitchy feel. I look forward to attending more meetups!

  • Green and white logo featuring a stylized upward arrow and a circle with radiating lines.

    Jennifer

I met women like me, working to overcome challenges as entrepreneurs. It felt like I was hanging out with friends instead of competing to be heard.

  • A woman and two children smiling and hugging on the beach by the water.

    Michelle

After the meetup I was excited to stay in touch with the women I met, which I don’t always feel after traditional networking events.

  • Two people sharing a joyful moment: a woman leaning on a man's shoulder with a big smile, both appearing happy and affectionate.

    Randy

It felt really good to step away from the usual busy networking scene and just enjoy a calm walk with fellow business owners.

  • Cute black cat holding a coffee mug with a beige background.

    Tara

As an introvert, I love how low-pressure and comfortable the BizBestie Walk meetup was. The walk-and-talk style made connecting feel natural and fun.

  • Woman with long black hair wearing a pink dress standing outdoors with blurred red flowers in background.

    Jo

Nothing like this exists and I’m so glad to now have this opportunity in my local community!

  • Logo for Sided & Timber Co. with stylized text in a dark circular background.

    Megan

Hearing what others are working toward was such a good reminder that we’re not meant to do this entrepreneurial journey alone.
