Event Policies
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
We may update our Event Policies from time to time. When we make changes, we’ll update the “Effective Date” above and post it on our website. We encourage you to check back periodically to review this Event Policies page for any changes since your last visit.
These Event Policies apply to all events organized by Biz Bestie Walk LLC.
ATTENDEES
AGE REQUIREMENTS
BizBestie Walk networking events are designed for adult women ages 18+.
We kindly ask that you leave strollers, children, and pets at home.
ACCESSIBILITY
NETWORKING WALKS
Accessibility may vary by venue and walking route. Some locations may include stairs, uneven sidewalks, hills, or areas that are not wheelchair accessible.
Accessibility details will be noted on the individual event page when possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before purchasing a ticket so we can help you determine if the event is a good fit.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
BizBestie Walk meetups take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In the event of severe weather, we may adjust the timing or relocate to our backup indoor location.
If an event must be cancelled due to weather, ticket holders will be notified by email about a rescheduled date or offered a credit toward a future BizBestie Walk event.
Refunds will be issued only if a reschedule or credit is not possible.
PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
BizBestie Walk events may be photographed or recorded. By registering and attending, participants grant permission for their image, name, and Instagram handle to be shared for marketing and community purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.
PARTICIPATION & LIABILITY
By registering for a BizBestie Walk event, attendees acknowledge and agree to the liability waiver and release completed during registration. Participation is voluntary, and attendees assume responsibility for their own safety during the event.
Our events include 30 minutes of standing and 45 minutes of walking at a leisurely pace. By attending, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own comfort and physical ability to participate. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather.
Participants are expected to follow all local laws, traffic signals, and host instructions while walking as a group.
BizBestie Walk is not responsible for injuries, accidents, lost items, or incidents that may occur before, during, or after an event.
REFUNDS
TICKET SALES ARE FINAL FOR ALL EVENTS
To create intentional, well-planned small-group experiences, all ticket sales are final.
Many BizBestie Walk events are intentionally limited in size, and each spot is reserved in advance. Because of this—as well as venue partnerships, host scheduling, and event planning—tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and may not be applied to another person or a future event.
This policy applies to all BizBestie Walk events, including Networking Walks, Coffee Collabs, Café Walks, Networking Socials, Creative Workshops, and Special Events.
CANCELLATIONS
If BizBestie Walk must cancel an event, attendees will be notified by email and receive a credit, transfer option, or refund based on the circumstance.
